Slogan: Timeless Love
Hey ya'll here is a little bit about me just for kicks!
▪This is my fifth season in Teenpact! I first attended the one day class in 2015 and haven't stopped coming since!
▪ I only have one sibling, an older brother named Zachary, and I live with my family in a beach town called Melbourne on the east coast of Florida!
▪I lead worship at my church on Sundays and will also be leading on a mission trip to Belize this summer as well as leading my church's VBS!
▪I absolutely love musical theater and fill much of my time volunteering as a performer at a community theater! I will also be co-leading a musical theater mission trip outreach to an orphanage in Haiti this summer!
▪In my free time I love to go to the beach, read and eat good food!
▪I have had two concussions in my life, the first from trying to do a handstand on a concrete bench and the second from trying to do a backflip off of a guardrail at the Air and Space museum in Washington D.C.
▪ Finally my favorite thing is to travel! Some of my favorite places are Hawaii, Paris, London, and Rome!
So now you know some random facts about me. I can't wait to get to NatCon and get to know ya'll!
The Lord has put on my heart to share about His Timeless Love this year at National Convention! We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. However, so often we "brand" ourselves with these mistakes instead of with Jesus' grace. We get to a point where we feel crushed by the weight of the world. It's easy to feel alone, being constantly blindsided by depression, anxiety and a need to be liked. We morph ourselves into unrecognizable beings, trying to become what the world wants. The truth is, the world serves only itself, quickly draining us of life. But Jesus is forgiving and welcoming. Throughout the Bible we see his eternal love go to war for our hearts. Psalm 118 and 136 repetitively tell us that "His love endures forever." We all called to praise His name for He will love us forever no matter what! When it comes down to it He doesn't care what you have done, or the fact that you walk through life alone, no matter how high of a barricade you have built around your heart He just wants you. He stands with arms wide open calling out to us, asking if we would just let Him love us. Let us break down our walls of protection keeping the world from hurting us again and allow the Lord to replenish our spirits with His grace! 1 Corinthians 13:7 says, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." He will carry you when you are weak, believe in you when no one else does, have hope for you even in your darkest days and He will love you fiercely for all of eternity.
