Caba/Slack Press Release

Why should fossil fuels be the major energy source? America has the potential to become energy independent, however not without fossil fuels. The statements made by “politicians regarding a worldwide global warming apocalypse are just a hysterical effort to further politicize an issue that deserves far more serious consideration than many Washington, DC pundits can provide.” (Texas Alliance of Energy Producers)

The major fossil fuels are defined as coal, oil, and natural gases. The United States has a large underrated potential for developing energy independence on behalf of fossil fuels. They offer efficient, quick, and easy energy, at a low cost.

“Fossil fuels are used throughout the world to power everything from cars to lights in the home.” (Conservative Energy Future) Not only do these fuels power the world but they can be found all around the world. The largest fossil fuel places in America are found in Texas, Wyoming, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania. “In its January 2018 Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO), EIA forecasts that total fossil fuels production in the United States will average almost 73 quadrillion British thermal units (Btu) in 2018, the highest level of production on record. EIA expects total fossil fuel production to then set another record in 2019, with production forecast to rise to 75 quadrillion Btu.” (U.S. Energy Information Administration)

“At this time, we have so many fossil fuel opportunities. This includes modern hydrofracture technology, water recycling, and rapidly dropping greenhouse gas emissions that clean-burning natural gas has provided.” (Texas Alliance of Energy Producers)

“It is shameless politics to ignore these facts. This political insult to the American oil and gas worker will not be forgotten.” (Texas Alliance of Energy Producers)
