Hello, TeenPact Nation! My name is Noah Kent. I’m running for Representative at National Convention this year, as part of the Vision Party. I was born at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia and lived in three states before I was two years old, while my dad served in the U.S. Air Force. I consider myself an “Okie,” as we have lived in Oklahoma for thirteen years. I have a pretty cool family, including four sisters (yep, I’m the only boy) and a plethora of pets. I spend most of my time playing basketball for the HFC Warriors. But, my mom assures me that learning piano and taking a drama class are an asset to my well-rounded education, so I do those things, too. I just finished my second year of Classical Conversations, where I’ve enjoyed mock trial and debate. My time with TeenPact started three years ago at the one-day class. I was honored to be elected Governor of the Oklahoma I 4-day class this year. TeenPact has taught me to take the first steps toward leadership and trust the Lord will provide for the task at hand. I am stoked for NC 2019 – can’t wait to meet you all!
My campaign, MOVE, revolves around Matthew 17:20. “If you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you.” We all have what seems to be mountains that can block progress in our lives. These things appear overwhelming and seemingly impossible.
However, we serve a God who is bigger than anything we face. Through the faith He provides, we have the ability to overcome every obstacle, stand strong for Christ, and take the Gospel to the nations.
TeenPact Nation, join me in the challenge to step out of our comfort zones with real, tangible faith and watch our mountains MOVE!
